  13. SUBJECT:        Data Corruption using Toshiba XM-3301B CDROM Drive as a 
  14. Terminating device.

  20. Problem:    The "TOSHIBA XM-3301B" CD-ROM drive whenever used as a 
  21. terminating SCSI device and/or when used with varying lengths of SCSI cabling 
  22. causes data corruption during the DATA transfer phase over the SCSI bus.
  23.  
  24. Resolution:    Toshiba Corporation has a fix for this problem, and it 
  25. requires a modified terminator. This part is sold by Toshiba as "TOSHIBA 
  26. TERMINATOR MODEL# ADT-03", part# "3N0001-A0" and is ordered by calling 
  27. 1-714-583-3674 or 1-714-583-3565.

  29.         Also, the Toshiba XM-3401B is the replacement unit, with the 
  30. corrective changes that replaces the now discontinued Toshiba XM-3301B CDROM 
  31. SCSI Drive.
